Aston Martin Rushes To Russia

14th December, 2006

Aston Martin Rushes To Russia

The expansion of Aston Martin’s global dealership network is all set to move into Russia for the first time in the company’s 94-year history. The Aston Martin franchise has been awarded to Andrey Lomakin and Andrey Boyko who also jointly own A.G. Marine, one of the leading specialists of luxury yachts in Moscow. The new dealership will be located on prestigious Vozdvizhenka Street and will operate under the name of Aston Martin Moscow.

Bill Donnelly, Aston Martin’s Sales and Marketing Director, said: “Aston Martin has carefully monitored the recent growth of Russia’s luxury sports car market but it was vital that we found the right partner who not only understands Aston Martin’s brand values but also the luxury market. We are confident that Andrey Lomakin and Andrey Boyko both have the expertise and knowledge to help us develop Aston Martin in Russia.”

The signature of Aston Martin’s global dealership programme is elegant showrooms marked by a strong emphasis on design and attention to detail, supported by personalised sales and after-sales service.  All these aspects reflect Aston Martin's tradition of craftsmanship and bespoke service. The corporate identity provides a consistency of customer experience which translates the elegance and simplicity of Aston Martin's motor show displays to the retail showroom.

Aston Martin’s model range comprises the Vanquish S, the DB9 Coupe, the DB9 Volante and the V8 Vantage. Last month the V8 Vantage Roadster was unveiled at the Los Angeles Motor Show. Aston Martin currently has 120 dealers worldwide which will increase to 125 by the end of this year. This year Aston Martin has already expanded into new markets with the opening of Aston Martin Sandton in South Africa. Other new markets will follow next year, including China. Deliveries to Moscow are anticipated to begin in May, 2007.

Andrey Lomakin said: “We feel privileged that we have been given the opportunity to represent Aston Martin in Moscow during this exciting time in the company’s history. Andrey and I have a passion for the brand which, combined with our knowledge of the luxury market, will enable us to bring a very personal touch to the business.”
