This twin turbo 225 kW engine uses latest generation high precision direct petrol injection to generate its power peak.

The 135i Sport is the first compact car to break the 100 bhp per litre power output level normally reserved for high-performance cars.

And the new 125i is fitted with a new 3.0-litre capacity straight six VALVETRONIC engine delivering 160 kW of power.

The BMW 1 Series Coupé will compete against highly acclaimed performance cars such as the class-leading Volkswagen Golf R32.

Frameless doors, sculpted wheel arches, and a well defined shoulder line complete with slender B pillars highlight the BMW 1 Series Coupé's styling.
