Holden Captiva (diesel) recall

Home > News > GM > Holden

23rd November, 2011

The 2.0 litre diesel Holden Captiva (Series 1) is subject to a recall. Some 16,181 vehicles are involved.

The identifying vehicle identification numbers are:
2008 models VIN: KL3CD26RJ8H307843 to KL3CG26RJ8H313387
2009 models VIN: KL3CA26RJ9B258567 to KL3CD26RJ9B557340
2010-2011 models VIN: KL3CA26RJAB000715 to KL3CD26RJAB118110

In affected vehicles, the fuel feed hose could potentially leak diesel fuel, resulting in a fire hazard.

The defect is because of a potential manufacturing defect within fuel feed hose.

GM Holden Ltd will contact owners (where possible). Otherwise owners of affected vehicles should contact an authorised Holden dealership for inspection and rectification.
