The new 3.0-litre VCDi common rail turbo diesel engine delivers peak power increases of 25 per cent on the previous diesel engine while meeting strict new Euro 4 emission requirements.

Peak power of the new diesel engine is 120 kW at 3,600 rpm (up from 96 kW at 3,800 rpm) and peak torque of 333 Nm is achieved at 1,600 rpm (automatic) and 360 Nm at 1,800 rpm (manual), an increase of 39 Nm and 66 Nm respectively.^
