KIA CARNIVAL: BEST IN THE WEST
NOT TO MENTION THE SOUTH AND THE NORTH!

Kia Carnival

29th November, 2004

The Royal Automobile Club of West Australia has joined the Victorian RACV and Queensland's RACQ in naming the Kia Carnival as the lowest cost people mover in Australia to own.

Like its interstate colleagues, the RAC WA worked out all costs of ownership across five years for the top selling people movers in Australia and discovered that taking every cost of ownership, including depreciation, insurance, fuel and servicing, the Kia Carnival not only had the lowest running costs - the V6-powered Carnival also beat its four cylinder rivals.

Of the vehicles tested, the Carnival had the lowest depreciation, not far off half the depreciation of one major rival. This contributed to the Carnival saving more than 20 cents for every kilometre driven compared to its nearest full size rival - or an extra dollar in the wallet of a Carnival driver every five kilometres!

The fact that the Carnival also scored the lowest servicing and repairs reflects the dedicated work that Kia has put into reducing parts prices across the board.

The V6 powered Kia Carnival has a recommended retail from $29,990 driveaway and it is comprehensively well equipped. Standard equipment includes Dual zone air conditioning, AM/FM radio/CD with six speakers, Power steering, Power aerial, Front power windows, Remote Central locking, Tilt adjustable steering column, Cup holders for all occupants, Dual-sliding rear doors with special hold-open lock system, Grocery bag hooks on back of rear seats, Power door mirrors with defroster, Adjustable roof rack, Tray tables on rear of front seats and Front map lights with timer. It is covered by a 3 year/100,000 km warranty.
