Lotus have announced, with immediate effect, that their new car factory warranty changes from 2-years/32,000 kms to 2-years with unlimited kilometres.

This new warranty will apply to all new vehicles registered from 1st September 2004.

This new policy is intended to provide greater customer satisfaction.

Lotus sales are currently in a strong growth phase in Australia, with the year-to-date result being more than double last year with growth of 107%. In fact, the full year total for 2003 has already been comfortably exceeded.

The new Elise 111R and Exige models, announced at the beginning of this year have been well received, boosting sales volumes.

Lotus Australia are happy to note that despite the new models being added to the range, sales of the MG Rover engined Elise and Elise S models have also held up well, indicating that the new more expensive Toyota powered Elise 111R and Exige models are providing incremental volume.
