Mercedes-Benz has announced the arrival of the limited edition C 200 KOMPRESSOR Sport Edition, a special model available for Saloon, Estate and Sports Coupé versions.

With the new C-Class Sport Edition, a special model which Mercedes-Benz will be offering from this month, customers looking for a C-Class Mercedes will have even more opportunities to show off its dynamic, sporty personality and to add an extra personal touch to their vehicle.

Size 225/45 R 17 (front) and 245/40 R 17 (rear) wide-base tyres, six-spoke alloy wheels, sports suspension, larger perforated front brake discs and brake callipers with silver Mercedes-Benz lettering (Saloon and Estate) and the AMG bodystyling package with seriously sporty front and rear aprons and side skirts are among the defining syling features of the new special model. The sporty look is further accentuated by a silver-painted radiator grille, chromed tailpipes, door handles painted in body colour and powerful bi-xenon headlamps with headlamp cleaning system. The Sports Coupé also features an AMG rear spoiler. Proof of identity is provided by the “Sport Edition” lettering on the side rub strips.

The exterior paintwork is available in two metallic colours: iridium silver and diamond black.

Sporty highlights inside the vehicle includes the three-spoke leather steering wheel with thumbrests, steering wheel mounted gearshift buttons, sports seats for driver and front passenger, ergonomically shaped silver gearshift knob and pedals with black rubber studs. High-quality, special-design aluminium trim on the centre console and distinctively styled silver instrument dials also catch the eye. Black floor mats with silver edging and “Sport Edition” logo are also included in the specification of the new special-edition model.

In addition, Saloon and Estate versions of the Sport Edition benefit from the convenience of a glass electric sunroof with lifter and also pick up features from the AVANTGARDE trim package such as THERMOTRONIC luxury automatic climate control, sun visors with illuminated vanity mirrors, exit lights in front doors and blue tinted windows all around.

Sports Coupé versions of the Sport Edition model benefit from the addition of the panoramic electric glass sunroof and full leather upholstery.

Limited volumes of the C 200 KOMPRESSOR Sport Edition are available from a recommended retail price of $73,500 for the Sports Coupé, $75,500 for the Saloon and $79,900 for the Estate.
