Mitsubishi Drives A Mean Deal with Limited Edition Lancer

2004 CH series Mitsubishi Lancer ES

20th October, 2004

Mitsubishi’s popular Lancer ES is the subject of a mean deal with the release of a Limited Edition for the last quarter of 2004.

Already well equipped with Driver and Passenger SRS airbags, remote keyless entry and central locking, power assisted rack and pinion steering, electric external mirrors, AM/FM radio and single CD audio unit, and air conditioning as standard, the Limited Edition also gets power windows, cruise control, alloy wheels and unique badging added for no extra cost. Over $2,000 of extra value is added to the car that still sells for $19,990.

Powered by a trusty 2.0 litre SOHC 16-valve multi-point injected four cylinder engine that develops 92kW at 5500rpm and 173Nm at 4250 rpm, Lancer Limited Edition has a five-speed manual transmission as standard. Mitsubishi’s acclaimed four-speed intelligent ‘INVECS II’ automatic transmission is optional.

Power is put to the ground with Lancer’s rally-bred fully independent MacPherson strut and coil spring front, and trailing arm multi-link and coil spring rear suspension.

Lancer ES has always been popular as a reliable, well specified, great value car that is enjoyable to drive, and the addition of a number of desirable features without a change to the recommended retail price ensures that the Limited Edition will be eagerly sought after until the end of the year. It is available from Mitsubishi dealers now in a full range of colours – Cool Silver Metallic, Wine Red Metallic, Deep Blue Mica, White Solid, and Black Mica.
