With effect from 1st October, 2004 the import and distribution rights for Morgan sports cars passed amicably from Prestige Motor Imports Pty Ltd, trading as Morgan Cars Australia to Morgan Cars Australia Pty Ltd.

The former company is owned by Bobby Zagame, the latter by Chris van Wyk.

Retail operations will continue to be conducted through the ZAGAME Automotive Group Pty Ltd, trading as Morgan Melbourne.

Having previously acted as the General Manager for Morgan Cars Australia under the Prestige Motor Imports banner, Chris van Wyk will continue in that role, but now as Managing Director at Morgan Cars Australia.

In other Morgan news, the first new Morgan Roadster for Australia enters production next week, for a Sydney based customer. The second Roadster, which has been sold to a Queensland customer, will enter production in January 2005.
