Nissan Tiida for 2007

27th December, 2006

Nissan Tiida - 2006 models shown

The 2007 model year Tiida compact sedan and hatch will go on sale from 1st January, 2007, with a new recommended retail price of $17,990*.

With the change in sourcing to Nissan’s Thailand plant, the previous campaign pricing has now been confirmed as the new retail price point.

The 2007 update also brings a number of changes to the line-up, in particular, the Tiida ST sedan and hatch which come with an impressive list of standard features including dual front airbags, air-conditioning CD player, remote keyless entry, power mirrors and now improved active safety.

All 2007 model ST variants are fitted with standard ABS anti-lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution and brake assist, bringing them into line with the rest of the Tiida range.

Cruise control is now also available on all automatic Tiida models, the first time this feature has been available in the range.

The Tiida ST-L sedan and hatch with alloy wheels, dual front and curtain airbags, anti-lock brakes and power windows is priced from $19,990* and the sporty Q hatch is now available from $22,990*.

The top-spec Ti sedan now comes with a bootlid spoiler and is priced at $25,240* with standard automatic transmission. The automatic transmission is a $2,250 option on all other models.

Tiida was launched into the Australian market in January 2006 offering a competitive package with its modern design, premium finishes and spacious interior.

Powered by a DOHC 16-valve 1.8-litre engine developed in conjunction with Nissan’s alliance partner, Renault, the Tiida boasts excellent performance and fuel economy.

According to Nissan’s General Manager of Marketing, Ross Booth, the 2007 model Tiida is not only keenly priced but also surprisingly spacious and well specified.

“Nissan has always strived to offer superior value for money and with the release of the 2007 model Tiida we have created an even more competitive package,” said Mr Booth.’

*Price excludes dealer delivery, government charges and metallic paint.
