Nissan has added a limited-run Special Edition ST-X variant to its popular compact four-wheel drive, the X-TRAIL.

Based on the highly specified ST variant, the ST-X adds stylish and practical features to the vehicle’s exterior and interior.

On top of the ST’s standard features – driver and front passenger SRS airbags, ABS brakes, air-conditioning, CD player, electric windows and mirrors – the ST-X adds a sunroof, polished 16" alloy wheels and a rear cargo blind.

The ST-X is only available in Black Obsidian, Twilight, Titanium Silver and White Diamond.

Powered by the lively yet economical 2.5-litre DOHC engine generating 132kW, the ST-X also has Nissan’s exclusive ALL MODE 4X4 system.

Pricing for a manual ST-X starts at $33,990* and the automatic is priced from $35,990*.

Nissan’s marketing manager, Philip Brook, said the Nissan X-TRAIL is Australia’s most popular compact four-wheel drive and it is not hard to see why. The ST-X variant adds even more features to the highly specified ST and will prove to be equally popular.
