For the second consecutive month, Peugeot Automobiles Australia has recorded its best ever monthly sales result, with 782 Peugeots registered in September. This eclipses the previous record of 780 sales, set in August of this year.

The monthly result reflects an increase of 28% compared to September last year and overall Peugeot sales are up 25.5% year to date.

Sales were strong across the entire Peugeot range, with stand-out performances from the ever popular 206, as well as from the safe and stylish 307.

Despite facing increased competition, the 206 has continued to impress buyers with its enduring style, versatility and economical range of petrol engines. Sales of the 206 models are up 27% compared with the same time last year.

The 307 range has just been bolstered with the arrival of a 6-speed automatic for the diesel hatch and Touring models, which should see the increase of 55% year to date continue to grow.
