Suzuki's popular 4WD, the Jimny JLX, will begin 2005, with a brand new look following upgrades to the interior and transmission of the vehicle.

Since entering the Australian market in 1999, the Jimny has become well known for its bold and rugged appearance as well as its true 4WD capabilities, which has earned the vehicle respect as a serious off road contender.

The driving abilities offered by the Jimny will be further highlighted through the upgrade following the addition of a VVT engine, and a button operated 4WD selectable system.

The quality of the drive is enhanced with a revised 4 speed automatic transmission upgrade, and a newly improved 5 speed manual transmission. The Jimny will now run on premium unleaded 95 RON fuel.

A selection of stylish upgrades to the interior, further refine the cabin of the Jimny, with the emphasis being on a modern and sleek design. A newly designed instrument panel, audio head unit and combination meter cluster improves the functionality of the dash.

Comfort is again kept at a premium with a newly designed steering wheel, new fabric for upholstery and changes to the front and rear seats, making for a pleasurable drive wherever your destination.

The changes to the rear seat also allow for easier manoeuvrability and now fold down in a single action, for greater luggage space.

Despite all the changes resulting from the upgrade, the price of the Suzuki Jimny remains unchanged and is available now from just $19,990.

Further options for buyers, as a result of the upgrade include the addition to the colour line up with Azure Grey, and the option of newly designed 5 spoke aluminium wheels.
