TOUAREG 360° EXPERIENCE

Volkswagen 360 Adventure
Around the world with Volkswagen

Touareg 360° experience: one of the last big adventures begins

- 40-week world tour starts on 18th July, 2004, in Alaska with five Touaregs

- Anyone who's interested can join a leg of the world tour for a few weeks

On 18th July, 2004, five Volkswagen Touaregs will leave Alaska on a trip covering all five continents. In front of them lie thousands of kilometres of adventure. The Touareg 360° experience is unusual as on board the offroader are people like you and I – booked in as temporary travellers. Anyone who would like to fulfil the dream of a once-in-a-lifetime travel experience can take part. However, you must act quickly as spaces are limited and are already partly booked up.

Each guest team (each with six people) will go on one leg of the world tour. The journey lasts two to four weeks, depending on the continent, and costs from 3 980 to 6 750 euros for boundless freedom. The Touareg 360° experience will finish in Wolfsburg (Germany) on 29th October, 2005.

The 14 legs of the world tour are as varied as the countries of the world. After starting in Alaska, the tour sets out on its first leg through the Rocky Mountains. This is followed by a trip through southwest America to Baja California and then it's further south. The third stage in the Touareg's log book is the Transamazonica in South America and then on to the Andes and the Atacama Desert. The next group will then tour Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego.

The Touareg 360° experience now changes continent and moves across to Australia, where the trek continues from Sydney to the outback and then through Western Australia. The first leg in Asia drives through China and Mongolia, on to the legendary Silk Road and the Himalayas, and then India. The caravan will reach Central Africa in August 2005. The next destinations are the Okavango Delta and the Kalahari Desert. Immediately after, we hope to travel from Nile to Niger, depending on the security situation in this region. The route from Dakar to Wolfsburg marks the finale of the world tour.

If you would like to discover the joys of travel and one of the last big adventures, ring the hotline in Germany on 1100+49+0800-8938368 (0800/VWEVENT). The Volkswagen Touareg are refueled and ready.
