Following on from the recent release of the Topaz caravan, Avida has launched the new 2016 Emerald caravan range.

The Avida Emerald now joins a long list of new model launches from Avida this year as part of the company's 50th anniversary.

Avida's dedicated in-house research and development team are passionate about developing quality new products for the Australian and New Zealand markets and the Emerald is no exception.

The new Emerald caravan is built using Avida's unique sandwich panel construction for the floor, walls and roof, providing a strong, highly insulated and light weight caravan that is dent and hail resistant.

Avida's unique construction technique is supported even further by the revolutionary hot dipped galvanised chassis adding further strength and protection to the Emerald caravan. And it doesn't stop there, Avida also have a metal underfloor finish as standard for added protection underneath the caravan.

The Emerald comes standard with many quality features including roof mounted reverse cycle air conditioning, roll out awning, 190 litre 2 door automatic energy selection fridge/freezer, queen size 1,520mm width bed with a doona cover and ample storage throughout including additional storage under the lift up bed which is on gas struts for easier lifting.

Avida's Sales and Marketing Manager Billy Falconer said "At Avida we build innovative and quality caravans that offer good value for money, which is evident in the new Emerald caravan range”.

There are 5 new lay outs available in the Emerald to cater for customers who like to travel on their own, as a couple or with the family. For added comfort to suit such needs, there is the choice of a queen width bed, single beds and bunk beds plus a choice of a dinette or a lounge. The Emerald models range from 17 foot to 20 foot lay outs with a new slide out model also available.

With a tare weight starting from under 1,800kg the Emerald is a pleasure to tow thanks to Avida's unique construction technique that provides lighter caravans and larger payloads.

All Avida products offer plenty of choice and the Emerald is no different with the choice of 3 exterior fibreglass colours, 13 fabric collections, 3 benchtop colours, 13 external decal colours and plenty of additional options from which to choose.

The Emerald Tourer can be upgraded with the Multi Terrain pack and the Explorer Pack which provides additional features for rougher roads, such as sports alloy wheels with off-road tyres, cruisemaster CRS or XT independent coil spring suspension, external shower with hot and cold water, BBQ fitting, 160 watt solar system, checker plate side wall stone protection, a higher ground clearance and much more.
