Among the standard inclusions are the interior and exterior Design Pure Excellence packages, Harman/Kardon surround sound system, extended leather upholstery in Nappa leather, including instrument panel with contrasting seam, and glass sunroof.

Another of the standard inclusions is the Surround View system, which has not only a Top View mode, but also a 3D View mode, as well as a Panorama View showing side traffic in the areas in front of and behind the vehicle. The 3D View mode shows the vehicle and its environment from various perspectives to aid safe manoeuvring in confined, low-visibility situations.

All BMW 7 Series owners will now also be able to equip their vehicle with the M Sport package as a no-cost option, incorporating the M Aerodynamics package, M leather steering wheel, 20-inch double-spoke bi-colour wheels and BMW Individual roof liner in Anthracite. This was previously a $10,000* option on the outgoing model.

The BMW 750i and 750Li additionally receive an M Sports Exhaust.

Illuminating the dashboard, foot, door sills and aspects of the interior trim, the Ambient lighting, in addition to the eye catching Welcome Light Carpet, illustrates the attention to detail.

The BMW 730d is powered by a 3.0 litre, six-cylinder BMW TwinPower Turbo diesel engine, generating 195kW and 620Nm, while sprinting to 100km/ from a standing start in 6.1 seconds.

Its range-opening petrol counterpart, the BMW 740i and 740Li, sports a similar 3.0 litre, six-cylinder BMW TwinPower Turbo engine, capable of producing 240kW and 450Nm, which charges to 100km/h in 5.5 seconds (5.6 in 740Li).

The elite performer of the range, the BMW 750i and BMW 750Li, boast power figures of 330kW and 650Nm, and surge to 100km/h in 4.7 seconds.
