Jeep pushes Chrysler sales upward

  • Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge combined April results up 3 per cent
  • Dodge Journey sets a new record
  • Jeep Patriot up over 200 per cent

Jeep sales continue to climb in 2010 with outstanding results from key models and a new record set for the multi-talented Dodge Journey.

The ever capable Jeep Wrangler continues to lead the way for Chrysler Australia in 2010 with 224 vehicles registered during April with Patriot continuing to set new records each month.

These Jeep vehicles plus Cherokee and Grand Cherokee have assisted the off-road brand achieve a 65 per cent increase year to date.

Dodge Journey sales hit an all time high with a record 118 vehicles sold during the month of April.

Strong results from various Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge models assisted Chrysler Australia sell 714 vehicles in April, an increase of 3 per cent over the same period in 2009.
