Honda’s British-built Civic Si hatch has been revised
with added features and minor styling changes for 2011.
And, for the month of March, the Civic Si has an additional two year/40,000 km warranty with five
years premium roadside assist.
On the outside, the stylish Honda Civic Si hatchback has been given a sportier look, with a Civic
Type R inspired mesh grille replacing the clear plastic grille from the previous model. The futuristic
and versatile interior now comes with either cloth trim or leather. In addition, all Civic Si models
now receive Bluetooth phone connectivity as standard.
The Civic Si features Honda’s magic seats that allow exceptional utility for bulky, long and tall
items. Folding the 'magic' rear seat flat will fit a full-size road bike easily in the cargo area,
without the need to remove the bike wheels.
Pricing* for the 2011 Civic Si range has been repositioned, adding extra value to the hatch, with
the cloth trim model starting at a Manufacturers List Price* (MLP*) of $29,990* for the six-speed
manual.
Powered by a 1.8 litre SOHC i-VTEC engine and producing 103 kW and 174 Nm, the Civic Si sips as
little as 6.9 litres per 100 km (combined cycle) for the manual transmission, whilst the auto is 7.2
litres per 100 km, using regular 91 RON unleaded fuel.
