The European-styled Honda Civic Hatch has received a make-over, with upgrades to the exterior and interior, modified suspension and a new price.

“The Civic remains one of our most popular nameplates in Australia,” said Stephen Collins, Honda Australia Director. “The European-styled hatch has maintained a strong presence in the small segment, with over 14,000 units finding homes since the new model was launched in 2012.”

“With its styling  upgrades and changes to suspension, the small price increase still makes it one of the best value-for-money hatches on the market,” Mr. Collins said.

The exterior changes enhance the Civic’s sleek and sporty design. At the front, the bumper receives a new piano-black finish while the rear bumper receives black treatment to its lower portion.

Privacy glass has been added to rear screen of the VTi-S and DTi-S making this a standard feature across the range (the VTi-L and VTi-LN already feature privacy glass). The tailgate receives the same piano-black finish as the front bumper.

There is a new design for the 17 inch alloy wheels on the VTi-L, VTi-L with navigation and DTi-S.

Inside, the cabin has been refreshed with subtle changes including white stitching on the front seats, steering wheel, knee pad and centre armrest along with a brighter trim around switches and air vents. There is also a piano-black treatment for the steering wheel.

A new colour has been added – Urban Titanium – while Deep Ocean Blue and Crystal Black are no longer available on the DTi-S.

In line with these exterior, interior and suspension changes, the price has increased by $1,000* across the range.
