Honda’s all-new Jazz light hatch will arrive in Australia in July, with sharp pricing and loads of standard features.

“The Jazz is one of Honda’s most important and successful models, not only in Australia but around the world,” said Honda Australia Director, Mr. Stephen Collins. “In Australia, the Jazz has sold almost 98,000 units since it was first introduced back in 2002, cementing it as one of our core models.”

“Honda’s engineers have managed to pack even more into the all-new Jazz including the colour touch-screen Display Audio system, three mode reversing camera and loads of safety features as standard. All this, while retaining the flexibility of the Magic Seats and spacious interior.”

The all-new Jazz will be available in three variants – VTi, VTi-S and VTi-L – all powered by a 1.5 litre i-VTEC engine delivering 88 kiloWatts of power at 6,600 rpm and 145 Newton metres of torque at 4,500 rpm. It features a new CVT from Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology series for enviable fuel economy of 5.8 litres per 100 kilometres (combined urban/extra urban). A manual transmission is available in the VTi and achieves 6.2 litres per 100 kilometres.

The all-new Jazz has important safety requirements covered too, with Hill Start Assist, Emergency Stop Signal, Vehicle Stability Assist, six airbags and a three-mode reversing camera (normal, wide, top down) as standard equipment.

The 'Magic Seats' that flip and fold in 18 different ways means the Jazz really can meet all your needs: from moving house, spontaneous shopping sprees or trips to the beach with the dog.

A familiar feature of the Honda Odyssey and City, the Jazz also includes the Display Audio system with a seven-inch colour touch screen. Display Audio has numerous infotainment needs sorted: you can stream music, call your friends or ask Siri for the location of the closest petrol station.

The VTi-L adds part leather/fake leather appointed interior trim with heated front seats and rear parking sensors.
