Australia’s top selling small SUV receives a host of new features and
upgrades with the release of the Hyundai ix35 Series ll.
The ix35 Series II model range benefits from the introduction of two new petrol engines with direct injection; the Nu
2.0-litre GDI and Theta 2.4-litre GDI, while the current R-series 2.0-litre CRDi diesel engine is carried over. All
engines are matched to a 6-speed automatic, with sequential manual mode gearbox, while a 6-speed manual is also available
for the Active model.

The performance of the ix35 Series II has been further advanced by Hyundai Motor Company Australia’s development
programme. Comprehensive local tuning of the suspension and steering ensures ix35 is equipped to handle the challenges of
Australia’s unique driving environment.
Exterior enhancements for ix35 Series ll include two all-new 17” and 18” alloy wheel designs and headlamp treatments,
with metal-effect roof rails now standard across the range. The interior benefits from rear seat reclining function
offering increased cabin comfort, new cloth seat design for Active models, and soft-touch front & rear upper door
trim in Elite and Highlander models for a fresh new look.
