The first ever Police-spec XF is about to go on patrol
across the British Midlands area. The Central Motorway Police Group, which patrols motorways across
Staffordshire, Mercia and the West Midlands has acquired seven high performance Police vehicles based on
the award-winning Jaguar XF diesel S model.
The Police-specification Jaguars feature the 275PS 3.0 litre Diesel S engine.
A roof mounted light bar with 3,600 blue flashing lights and integrated side alley lights, blue and
white flashing LED lights inside the front grille, side mounted blue flashing LED lights, blue and red
flashing LED lights integrated in the rear light clusters and a Home Office-specification electronics
'Police pack' that powers a full suite of electronic equipment help make these cars the ultimate Police
vehicles.

The Jaguar XF beats other contenders with a fuel economy figure of 42 mpg and an excellent CO2 rating of
179 g/km. The XF’s residual value is a key factor in making it a financially sound choice for police forces.
Research suggest the new 3.0-litre XF will retain an impressive 80 per cent of its purchase price after 12
months or 14,000 miles which makes it the best in class, and an astonishing 45 per cent of its value after
three years and 60,000 miles of motoring.
The seven Jaguar XFs will be put to work immediately throughout the Midlands area of England.
