Jayco’s Expanda Caravans and Pop Tops provide a wide choice of spacious,
family-friendly RVs. This trend is set to continue, thanks to a raft of upgrades and improvements to the latest range.
With a focus on ease of use and simplicity, travellers can increase the Expanda’s sleeping area in a matter of seconds.
This enables Expanda owners to travel light on the road and live large on the camp site.
Available in 12 different lay-outs, the 2012 Expanda range includes a series of standard features that other
manufacturers call ‘options.’ These standard features include a Dometic fridge, microwave and SMEV 4 burner gas griller
that are certain to delight culinary campers.
Jayco has upped the style ante by upgrading the Expanda’s internal decor. The 2012 Expanda also features
Australian-made Enduro foam cushioned seats which are fire resistant and bacteria resistant and quite comfortable.
Jayco’s Marketing Director, Andrew Ryan, said that the 2012 Expanda Caravan range is perfect for families who require
the convenience of added storage and extra space.
“The Expanda range has always been popular because they’re compact, great value for money and come in a range of
innovative lay out options.”
“However we think that in 2012 families will enjoy the superior quality and attention to detail that comes through
in every appliance, cabinet and piece of furniture in the new Expanda range,” said Mr Ryan.
Models range from 14’11” to 19’6” in body length so there is a caravan or pop top to suit most families. The largest
Expanda Caravan on offer houses six adults and two children so there’s room for extended family or friends to join in on
the holiday fun.
Jayco’s Expanda Caravans and Pop Tops not only boast impressive internal features but also include a range of exciting
external improvements. The introduction of an upgraded external trunk door provides additional storage space, while the
option of a tandem pop top axle gives the Expanda greater weight capacity than ever before.
In 2012, customers will have the added protection of Jayco’s Roadside Assist Programme which is provided free for
three years. Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year – caravanning has never been so stress-free.
With an extensive line-up of versions, the Expanda model range vary in weight from 1,363 kg to 2,160 kg (without
options and carry-on luggage).
The price* for the Expanda range begins at $31,000* (pop-tops) and $43,000* (caravans), plus the traditional on-road
costs.
