It is powered by the 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 engine, which develops 209kW and 347Nm of torque and drives through a five-speed automatic transmission.

With 223mm of ground clearance, 35-degree approach angle, 22-degree break-over angle and 28-degree departure angle the Dragon reflects its typical off-road credentials.

Wrangler Dragon can also negotiate city streets with ease and comfort thanks to dual purpose Bridgestone 255/70R18 Dueler BSW all-terrain tyres.

Fiat Chrysler Australia CEO and President Veronica Johns said Wrangler Dragon represented a striking edition in the highly capable 2014 Jeep Wrangler line-up.

“The Dragon edition takes the key strengths of Wrangler and takes them in a bold new styling direction for a selective, individualist buyer,” Ms Johns said.

“This limited edition model announces itself with unique style whether in the city or on tough off-road trails.”

Wrangler Dragon is priced from $51,000* and is available now across Australia.
