Mazda Australia national marketing manager, Alastair Doak, welcomed the arrival of the new Mazda
2 Genki. “The sales success of the Mazda 2 so far this year really speaks volumes for the
quality of this car. We had the benefit of upgrades to the Neo and Maxx models earlier this year
and now we’re delighted to see the whole Mazda 2 range updated. There’s been a significant amount
of equipment added to the Genki and we’re sure that this will strike the right note with
buyers,” he said.
Coming on top of upgrades to Mazda 2 Neo and Maxx models earlier this year, the addition of the
new Genki will ensure the Mazda 2 remains competitive amongst many other fine light cars.
