The tiny Mazda Flair Crossover is readying for release in Japan during late January 2014. It is for Japanese consumption only!

The little car comes with a 660cc engine featuring DOHC and VVT. Two wheel or all-wheel drive is available and all models have a continuously variable transmission. Fifteen inch wheels are standard.

Hill descent control and grip control are features of the all-wheel drive versions.

Three trim levels are available (XG, XS, XT), in a choice of seven exterior colours - some with a two-tone combination which is optional at 42,000 yen. Aluminium roofrails are fitted to XS and XT versions.

Purchase of a Mazda Flair Crossover attracts a seperate upfront payment of an 8,810 yen recycling fee.

Mazda have a total sales target of 500 units per month across Japan.
