Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific has announced pricing and specifications
for the new E-Class Coupé and Cabriolet models ahead of the new models arriving at dealerships within weeks. These new
variants for the Australian market succeed in uniting superior comfort and high quality equipment with a strikingly
sporty panache.
“The new E-Class Coupé and Cabriolet models represent excellent value in the luxury car segment” said Richard
Emery, General Manager Sales Mercedes-Benz Cars Australia/Pacific. “The new E-Class indicates our commitment to
safety, technology and equipment without compromise”.
The entry level E 200 Coupé and Cabriolet are fitted with a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine. Both vehicles deliver
a maximum output of 135kW and 300Nm of torque, and consume just 6.0 and 6.5 L/100km respectively (combined cycle rating).
The striking E 250 Coupé and Cabriolet deliver a maximum output of 155kW and an increased 40Nm over previous models.
The E 250 CDI Coupé produces 500Nm of torque from the 2-stage turbocharged diesel engine, while producing an outstanding
fuel consumption of just 4.7L/100km (combined rating).
Harnessing the new 6-cylinder bi-turbo engine, the E 400 Coupé and Cabriolet offer dynamic driving experiences,
producing 245kW and 480Nm of torque to accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 5.2 seconds in the Coupé model, and 5.3 seconds
in the Cabriolet.
A host of exceptional standard features on the E-Class Coupé and Cabriolet including Active Park Assist, 19” Wheels,
PARKTRONIC, KEYLESS-GO, THERMATIC automatic climate control, LED Intelligent Light System and AIRSCARF neck-level heating
system (Cabriolet). In addition, the E 400 Coupé and Cabriolet models will incorporate a Harman Kardon® Logic 7® surround
sound system and 360° camera.
The E-Class Coupé and Cabriolet will also arrive with exceptional safety features as standard including DISTRONIC PLUS
with Steering Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, PRE-SAFE® Brake with Active Pedestrian Protection, PRE-SAFE® PLUS and BAS
PLUS with Junction Assist.
