Following the success of the limited edition C 200 KOMPRESSOR
Sport Edition, Mercedes-Benz announced today an enhanced version of the limited
edition package can now be ordered across the entire C-Class Saloon and Estate
model range.
The new Sport Edition + package is equipped with a host of additional
features, offering customers the quality, safety and attention to detail that is
synonymous with the C-Class range.
Sport Edition + provides customers the opportunity to add an extra personal
touch to their vehicle, whilst showing off the dynamic, sporty personality of
the C-Class.
“Following the runaway success and popularity of the Sport Edition package in
the C 200 KOMPRESSOR, we have decided to extend this package further across the
C-Class Saloon and Wagon model range.
“The C-Class continues to be our most popular model in our growing line-up of
passenger vehicles, with the Sport Edition + further extending this appeal”,
said Horst von Sanden, managing director of the Mercedes Car Group in Australia.
The new Sport Edition + package features six spoke 17” light alloy wheels,
larger perforated front brake discs and brake callipers with silver
Mercedes-Benz lettering, sports suspension, and bi-xenon headlights with dynamic
range adjustment and headlight cleaning system. The sporty look is further
enhanced with the oval polished stainless steel tailpipe exhaust system and
distinctive AMG styling, comprising front and rear aprons and side skirts.
Three additional metallic paint colour options are also available for the
Sport Edition + package: cubanite silver, jasper blue and carneol red, along
with the existing iridium silver and diamond black.
Silver instrument dials and white instrument lighting, driver and front
passenger sports seats, leather trimmed short sports design gear shift lever,
leather three spoke design steering wheel with thumb rests and a silver radiator
grille further accentuate the sporty look. The ‘Sport Edition’ badge on the
front rub strips reinforce the sporty styling of the C-Class as do the front and
rear velour mats featuring the ‘Sport Edition’ logo.
The option exists for customers to further personalise their vehicle with
extras such as an electric tilt/sliding glass sunroof and steering wheel mounted
gearshift buttons.
The Sport Edition + package is available in CLASSIC, ELEGANCE and AVANTGARDE
lines, and is priced from $4,900.
