Sporting the familiar chequered Victoria Police decals, this special Lancer Evolution is to be featured in numerous public events such as open days, charity events, educational sessions, parades and regular street patrols.

President and chief executive officer of MMAL, Robert McEniry, is pleased to be able to support the Victoria Police with Mitsubishi’s top performance vehicle for the use of the men and women in blue.

The special police edition Lancer Evolution has already been put to work by the Victoria Police, and its most recent appearance was as a lead car in the National Police Remembrance Day parade in late September. Future assignments scheduled for the vehicle include appearances at the Mansfield Show and Emergency Services Car Show this month, the annual Cops’n’kids Camp in November, and Shepparton’s Rock and Rod Car Show in March 2009 and the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal in April 2009.
