Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited (MMAL) is welcoming back the Pajero Platinum Edition which features premium styling and specification upgrades usually reserved for higher end models.

Based on the 2010 Model Year GLX range, the Pajero Platinum Edition features an array of stylish exterior upgrades such as privacy glass, body coloured door handles and mirrors, chrome radiator grille and silver roof rails.

For increased functionality, the Pajero Platinum edition includes Mitsubishi’s Multi Communication System (MMCS) with Navigation Voice Command Steering Wheel Controls, an 850 watt Rockford Acoustic Design 12 Speaker Premium Audio System and reversing camera and reversing sensors as standard.

The Pajero Platinum comes with a choice of a 3.8L petrol engine with manual or automatic transmission, or a 3.2L diesel with manual or automatic transmission.

MMAL’s president and CEO, Masahiko Takahashi, introduced this Platinum edition of the legendary Pajero.

The Mitsubishi Pajero Platinum Edition offers first-class occupant and driver safety. In addition to Pajero’s high level of standard safety equipment including RISE body protection, ABS braking system with BA and EBD, electronic stability control and driver and passenger SRS airbags, the Pajero Platinum Edition offers front fog lamps, rain sensing wipers and dusk sensing headlamps.

The Pajero Platinum is covered by Mitsubishi’s 10 year/160,000 km non-transferrable drive-train warranty, five year/130,000 km new vehicle warranty, and is on sale now at over 200 Mitsubishi dealerships around Australia.

Pricing is as per the Pajero GLX model, that is from $58,290 excluding dealer delivery fees and statutory charges (commonly called on-road costs). As usual, prices are subject to change without notice.
