Mitsubishi’s Limited Edition Pajero RX

Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited (MMAL) has announced the arrival of the Limited Edition Pajero RX four-wheel drive wagon. The RX model is based on the Pajero GLX with a host of safety, function and style-enhancing upgrades, showcasing the Pajero’s legendary performance in a sleek package.

Enhancing the sleek lines of the Pajero RX are 18” inch alloy wheels, chrome mirrors and door handles, side steps with integrated mud guards, front skid plates and a rear deflector. The sporty rear spoiler, silver roof rails and exclusive RX badging are the perfect finishing touches to the impressive styling.

The interior styling upgrades include an Alloy Automatic Transmission Lever, Alloy Transfer Selector Lever, Alloy Park Brake Lever and six CD Auto Changer.

In addition to Pajero’s standard high level of safety equipment which includes RISE body protection, ABS braking system with EBA and EBD, driver and passenger SRS airbags, the Pajero RX also features side and curtain airbags, front fog lamps and reversing sensors as standard.

The Pajero RX is fitted with Mitsubishi’s All Terrain Technology (MATT) to give superior driving control and first class safety. MATT incorporates the latest in four-wheel drive technology and includes Active Stability Control, Active Traction Control and Super Select 4WD II.

President and CEO of MMAL, Masahiko Takahashi, said he is delighted to present the Limited Edition Pajero for customers looking for a value-packed vehicle with unique styling.

“The Limited Edition Pajero RX builds on the Pajero’s legendary status while giving our customers a little something extra,” Takahashi said.

“The Pajero RX features all the technology, power and four-wheel drive capabilities Pajero is famous for in a stylish package. It’s the extras in the Pajero RX that enhance the driving experience for drivers and passengers alike.”

The RX comes with the choice of a 3.2 litre High Power common rail turbo diesel or a 3.8 litre V6 MIVEC engine. Coupled with a five speed Sports Mode automatic transmission, the Pajero provides a massive three tonne towing capacity.

The Pajero RX comes with a comprehensive five year/130,000 kilometre whole car warranty, backed up by a ten year/160,000 kilometre powertrain warranty and a five year/unlimited kilometre roadside assistance package. The Pajero RX is on sale from $55,190* (MLP*).
