Nissan's Commercial Vehicles Sales Soar

Nissan has recorded its best recent first quarter of sales on the back of
strong demand across the commercial vehicle range. With total sales in March exceeding 5,800 units - a 46 percent increase on
March 2006 - Nissan's biggest sellers were the Navara and Tiida. The Nissan Navara 4x4 range continued to sell strongly with 2,248 sales - its
best March sales result. While Nissan's dual airbag equipped Patrol Cab Chassis also had is best March
result ever with 352 sales. In the passenger segment, Nissan's Tiida hit a record high in March with 1,527
retails. Shinya Hannya, Nissan Australia's Managing Director and CEO, said: "The
result is a great way to finish the first quarter of the 2007 and I am happy to
see our commercial vehicle range selling so strongly." | |||||
