The two new Panamera models to join the gran turismo range will use exclusive Porsche V6 engines and be priced from $193,000*.

The new rear-drive Panamera and all-wheel drive Panamera 4 (from $204,400*) will each deliver fuel consumption of less than 10 L/100 kms from their Porsche developed and built V6 engines, while offering the type of performance befitting a GT car.

The 3.6 litre powerplant features direct fuel injection (DFI) and offers an impressive 220 kW of power and 400 Nm of torque. The engine is matched to Porsche’s acclaimed seven-speed PDK double-clutch gearbox.

“This V6 has been designed by Porsche specifically for the Panamera,” says Porsche Cars Australia Managing Director Michael Winkler. “It has the power and refinement our customers expect, yet at the same time delivers excellent fuel economy and low CO2 emissions.”

In the New European Driving Cycle the Panamera has a CO2 rating of just 213 g/km, the Panamera 4 an equally impressive 220 g/km.
