The 2015 Range Rover Sport is now available to order and available for delivery from December 2014. The model year 2015 models will host a vast range of specification additions with no additional cost, plus the introduction of an attractive new entry level derivative and the availability of the Hybrid models.

TDV6 S model introduction

Available for the first time in Australia, the 2015 Range Rover Sport will now offer a TDV6 S derivative, with a price of $92,600* and available for delivery from December. Specified with Land Rover’s legendary next-generation four corner air suspension and Terrain Response®, and powered by an efficient 190kW/600Nm 3.0L TDV6 engine, this vehicle provides a very competitive offering in this price segment.

Standard features include - a hard disc navigation system with hard disc audio server & voice control, rear-view camera with visual guidance and a hitch assist function, 19” five split spoke alloy wheels, comfortable and supportive 6/4 way seats with height adjustment, and enjoy music as it was intended through the 250W audio system with eight speakers.

LR-SDV6 3.0 Diesel Hybrid

Designed and engineered for a Hybrid derivative from the start, the Range Rover Sport Hybrid makes no compromise to Land Rover’s legendary breadth of capability.

The 3.0 SDV6 Hybrid will be available in both HSE and Autobiography trim levels.

  • HSE  Hybrid - $146,900*
  • Autobiography Hybrid - $165,300*

As a Land Rover without compromise, the newly developed full parallel hybrid system helps to further improve efficiency along with outstanding refinement and effortless performance.

The Hybrid uses a state-of-the-art diesel powertrain which combines the 215kW 3.0-litre engine, and an integral 35kW/175Nm electric motor packaged between the engine and the 8-speed automatic transmission.

To ensure that there is no compromise to the Range Rover Sport’s peerless breadth of capability, the vehicle has been engineered from the start for a hybrid derivative. As a result, the hybrid model retains the dynamic driving experience of the other models, as well as their class-leading off-road performance.

The Hybrid model offers the customer additional Hybrid functionality in addition to the Land Rover Terrain Response programmes. A driver selectable EV mode prioritises EV running on electric power only, and an Inhibit mode prioritises Hybrid boost to support the engine for maximum vehicle performance or to reassure the driver on difficult terrain.
