The new diesel powered Kangoo is fitted with a 1.5 litre dCi diesel engine which produces 62 kW of power at 3,750 rpm and an impressive 200 Nm of torque at an amazingly low 1,750 rpm.

Teamed to a five-speed manual transmission the new diesel Kangoo will travel 100 kilometres on class-leading 5.3* litres of diesel. Fitted with a 50 litre fuel tank it has a theoretical range of over 900 km.

With the addition of the diesel variant the Kangoo is now available in three models. The 1.6 litre petrol powered Kangoo generates 70 Kw of power at 5,000 rpm and a handy 148 Nm and comes with a 5 speed manual transmission as standard or optional 4 speed automatic.

Extremely well specified the Kangoo combines small car comfort levels with the ability to carry a payload of up to 620 kg. Driver friendly features include air conditioning, CD player with satellite audio controls, power steering, remote central locking, electric mirrors and windows, dual sliding side doors and roof rails. The passenger seat back also folds flat to provide a handy work area or additional cargo space for longer items.

Safety equipment offered on the Kangoo includes dual front airbags, seatbelts with pre-tensioners and load limiters, front disc brakes, ABS and EBD, collapsible steering column, reinforced and padded doors and protective steel reinforcing bars around the driver’s seating area.

Kangoo offers usable cargo space of 2.75m2. Easy access to the cargo area is assured, with a low loading sill of 605 mm, 180 degrees opening rear barn doors and the standard dual side sliding doors. Four anchorage points on the floor ensure any load can be safely secured.
