Australia’s best-selling sports utility vehicle this year is about to get even better, thanks to a limited edition Subaru Forester X that includes extra features worth $1,500 for a price premium of just $500.

Just 550 Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive Forester X limited editions are available, with the choice of either manual or SPORTSHIFT automatic transmissions.

They add:

  • 16-inch alloy wheels
  • Front fog lights
  • Leather steering wheel and gear shift

The Forester X limited edition is priced from $30,990 RRP (recommended retail price).

Forester was Australia’s best-selling compact sports utility vehicle in 2008 and year-to-date is the best selling SUV across all categories, according to official VFACTS sales figures.

As with every new Subaru sold in Australia, all Foresters have a five-star occupant safety rating from the Australasian New Car Assessment Programme, and VDC electronic stability control as standard, plus dual front, side and curtain airbags.

Nick Senior, Managing Director, Subaru Australia, said: “New generation Forester’s ongoing sales success will be spurred further by this limited edition Forester X, which represents remarkable value in a vehicle that has already been recognised for its comprehensive specification.”

“This is the very first special edition of new generation Forester and, with this huge amount of value, we expect them to sell quickly.”
