A limited edition Double Overhead Camshaft 2.0 litre Subaru Liberty is now on sale in Australia, sporting a unique spark yellow colour scheme.

Also available in white, only 200 of the all-wheel drive Liberty 2.0R Limited Editions are available, with a recommended retail price of $33,990 for the manual transmission sedan and an additional $2,000 for the automatic sedan.

They feature leather and alcantara seats, tinted glass, 17-inch alloy wheels and a rear spoiler.

The technologically advanced 2.0 litre DOHC engine produces an impressive 121 Kilowatts of power at 6,800 rpm and 187 Newtonmetres of torque at 3,200 rpm.

The Single Overhead Camshaft 2.0 litre engine previously available on entry-level Liberty produced 101 kW.

Nick Senior, Managing Director, Subaru Australia, said: “We’re delighted to be offering a special edition 2.0 litre Liberty at a very competitive price, given the list of extra specification, which is valued at more than $4,700.

“It is one of a series of special editions that we are introducing in the first quarter of 2006, including Impreza, Forester and Outback variants.”
