Suzukiís popular small car, the Swift has been awarded "Most Fun to Drive" at the annual Japanese Car Of The Year awards for 2005-2006.
The awards, run and sponsored by the Car of the Year Executive Committee, recognised the stylish European design, dynamic performance and high levels of standard equipment and features as contributing factors to the overall driveability of the Suzuki Swift.
Since being unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 2004, the Suzuki Swift has experienced phenomenal worldwide success and production in Japan, Hungry, India and China has seen almost 168,000 units produced in the last 12 months.
In Australia, the Swift has far exceeded Suzukiís expected target for each month of 350 units, selling a total of 894 vehicles for the month of October and again outselling the Mazda 2, Honda Jazz, Ford Fiesta and Holden Barina.
