Some 3,524 Volkswagen Transporters are the subject of a recent recall in
Australia.
On all affected vehicles the cooling fan can continue to run even when the ignition is switched-off.
If the defect occurs it will result in a flat battery and the inability to start the vehicle without assistance.
Relevant owners who haven't been contacted by Volkswagen Group Australia should contact their local VW Commercial
Vehicle dealership service department.
