Volkswagen will soon offer a front-wheel drive Tiguan with the automatic
6-speed DSG transmission in its MY14 range.
With BlueMotion Technologies such as the Start/Stop System and Brake energy recuperation as standard, the Tiguan
118TSI DSG returns a combined fuel consumption rating of 7.3l/100km when paired with the 6-speed DSG. It is powered by a
TSI twin-charged petrol engine which develops 118kW at 5,800rpm and 240Nm of torque from 1,500rpm to 4,000rpm.
It is equipped with a long list of safety features, such as Electronic Stabilisation Programme (ESP), Brake Assist and
six airbags, as well as standard convenience features such as Daytime Driving Lights, Auto Hold, Cruise Control,
Bluetooth Connectivity with music streaming and a multi-function leather steering wheel. Customers can also option their
Tiguan 118TSI with the innovative Park Assist 2 – parking bay and parallel parking assistance system.
Pricing* for the Tiguan 118TSI front-wheel drive with automatic transmission (DSG) start at $30,990*.
