The year 2005 is on track to be Mazda Australia’s best ever sales year with November recording yet another record result.

Mazda Australia achieved 5,509 sales making it their best November on record and reporting an increase of 14.6 per cent from November 2004.

This strong sales result can be attributed to sensational results for Mazda 2, Mazda 3, Mazda 6 and MX-5.

Mazda 2 recorded its most successful month ever with 603 retail sales. Always a strong performer, the Mazda 2 has been aided by a mid-life facelift in June as well as growing demand for smaller cars in the marketplace.

Not to be out done, the other class-leading cars in the Mazda pack also performed strongly with Mazda 3 and Mazda 6 recording 2,772 and 1,192 retails sales respectively.

With the advent of summer the all new MX-5 recorded a fantastic month with 166 vehicles sold, this was the best sales result since March 1999.

Sales were also assisted by Mazda’s retail campaign, “Mazda Will Do It For You”, which began in October and continued through November. The campaign offers great deals across the range, excluding the all new MX-5 and Mazda 6 MPS.

“Good supply of vehicles along with a strong and refreshed product lineup has helped us achieve another sales record. Our Mazda 2 and MX-5 sales are of particular significance, with steady performers Mazda 3 and Mazda 6 continuing to prove popular in the small and medium markets,” Mazda Australia managing director, Doug Dickson stated.
