Mitsubishi Magna VR Limited Edition
Here now!

15th March, 2004

Ralliart "Goodies" Added to Sporty Magnas

A Limited Edition Magna VR and VR-X, featuring many of the “goodies” previously only available on the fiery Ralliart Magna went on sale from the beginning of March.

The stylish and distinctive VR and VR-X Limited Editions will have the following features:

  • 17” Enkei Wheels (as per Ralliart Magna),
  • 225/50R17 Pirelli P6000 high performance tyres,
  • ‘Koni’ Ralliart-tuned suspension,
  • Body-coloured headlight bezels,
  • Body-coloured fog lamp bezels,
  • Body-coloured upper grille (with chrome surround for VR),
  • Silver coloured lower grille (body-coloured for VR),
  • Painted rear bumper insert in contrast colour,
  • ‘VR-X’ (or ‘VR’) rear door badge,
  • ‘Limited Edition’ rear decklid badge,
  • Perforated black leather-wrapped steering wheel,
  • Optional leather interior trim and seating on VR-X models,
  • Optional sunroof on both VR and VR-X
  • Tinted windows.

Both Magna VR and VR-X are powered by a gutsy 24-valve 3.5 litre SOHC V6 engine that develops 163kw of power at 5200rpm and 317Nm of torque at 4500rpm. The lowered sports suspension has been improved through the addition of Koni Ralliart-tuned dampers that give a flat, sporty ride for the enthusiast driver, while not transmitting the small bump harshness normally associated with this type of sports suspension. The Pirelli P6000 tyres also help to raise handling and turn-in to levels normally associated with much more expensive imported sports sedans.

The unique paint treatments, and the body kit help to make the VR-X and VR Limited Editions stand out from the many “me-too” family cars that are available on the market today. Their rakish good looks will appeal to the enthusiast driver that likes to be an individual.

Available in the standard VR-X and VR colour range - Mawson White, Sable Black, Pewter, Flame Red, Sienna Red, Sapphire Blue and Daintree Green - these Limited Editions represent great value for money at the following prices:

VR five-speed manual $33,990
VR five-speed automatic with 'Sports Mode' sequential shifting $35,990

The Limited Editions, which will only be available until stocks are sold, represents great value for money, and adds to Mitsubishi’s range of sporty vehicles.
