16th November, 2005

After record sales in 2003 and 2004 Honda Australia announced yesterday it has achieved another milestone, selling its 40,000th vehicle in one year for the first time.

The 40,000th vehicle was an Integra Type S sold by Queensland dealer Highway Honda of Springwood.

Honda Australia Senior Director Lindsay Smalley was delighted with the result, “Having beaten last year’s record by 3,562 units and achieving this milestone in our history, I am looking forward to posting another record year in 2005 as we close in on our target of 41,000 units.”

“I would also like to thank the staff of Honda Australia and our dealer network for their continuing efforts and to our Honda customers who made this milestone possible.”
